This is a six week course, held on Wednesdays at the Fremantle Arts Centre. Students move swiftly from basic cut stencil silk-screen printing to using photographic emulsion. This will achieve repeatable and fine detailed results.
The car is by Wes. The two colour print on the bag is, soon to be famous, Nadege and the lion is a print i did to demonstrate puff medium (its in the orange, hard to see in the picture). I've got an exciting new class through the Mundaring Arts Centre, its running for four weeks, creating a sculpture from a still life painting. Students are using newspaper, bamboo, cardboard, wire and oodles of masking tape to construct their pieces. We will paper mache over the surface and use textural painting tricks to give the final wham bam.
Do i have THE BEST job in the world? I discovered Jude through her cook book 'Wholefood for Children', no sooner had i discovered that divine book that 'Wholefood Baking' was launched. Jude is a Perth local advocating for ingredients to be used as close to their origin as possible. The launch featured fruit /veg/pig/lamb/organic farmers to promote shopping at the local growers markets which seem to be popping up everywhere.
Who better to share lemon and coconut cake with than Kate Weedon Jones, otherwise known as Cake. A textile genius both in technique and style. Sorry i don't have a snap of her, she doesn't have a website but i can direct you to her pinterest boards....http://pinterest.com/kateweedonjones/

As a component of the five day teachers training module; Teaching through the 12 Senses, experienced Steiner Craft teacher Anne Williams taught different doll making classes each day. The day i attended we busted out this style of doll. We were sitting in the kindy room on tiny hand carved wooden chairs. XL
