As part of the Perth AWESOME Kids Art Festival, donated pianos were decorated by schools and community groups working with an artist. i was thrilled to work with the talented Year 4/5 class at Byford Primary. we paper mached the piano with torn photocopy paper then used buttons to create stars and words of encouragement. the public were enticed to play the pianos as they were dotted around the city.

I LOVE Fairbridge. This year I was working in the kids tent creating a giant snake for the little kids to carry in the finale parade. I heard one little'n explaining that we were putting the skin back on the snake. Everyone felted madly to cover the 10 metre long snake, the felts were then stitched on, the body was sewn with cotton fabric and stuffed with empty milk bottles. http://www.fairbridgefestival.com.au/ This was a rehearsal for the parade.
